Q. Who can enter?
Anyone over 18 who is eligible to sign up to a Marks & Spencer Sparks account.
Q. Which countries have schools and U18 football clubs taking part?
England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales.
Q. But what if schools aren't open?
Although schools don’t open until September in England and Wales, you can still select and register on behalf of the one you’d like to support. Entries will be counted and saved for the school, regardless of term start!
Q. When is the competition running?
The competition will run from 1st August till 27th September. If you've registered for the competition, any Eat Well product purchased during this period will count as an entry.
Q. If I win the gold prize, how are the children selected to attend the training masterclass?
As the prize winner, you will be able to select up to four children to participate, if you wish to. These children must be from the school or football club you selected when you registered for the competition. The masterclass will take place in spring 2023, therefore, we recommend that you register with the school or football club your child will be attending in spring 2023. The school or football club you registered with will then need to select the remaining 16+ participants for a total of 20. This includes parents, teachers or coaches for supervision. How they select the participants is at their discretion. We will contact the school or football club to inform them of this once we have contacted you successfully. If you win the gold prize, we will contact you by phone and/or email between 1st and 18th October 2022 to let you know. We may also need to confirm with you the contact details of the school or club you registered with. If we cannot contact you during that period, you will forfeit the prize and another prize winner will be randomly selected.
Q. How will I know if I've won a silver or bronze prize?
Bronze prizes are Eat Well products from M&S. If you win a bronze prize, we will inform you via email, so keep an eye out for this. Silver prizes include match tickets, football merchandise and vouchers for schools. We will inform you via phone and/or email if you win a silver prize. If we cannot successfully contact you within 2 weeks, you will forfeit the prize and we will randomly select another winner.
Q. Do I need to scan my Sparks card when shopping?
Yes, it is used to count your Eat Well purchases and award entries.
Q. How many entries does an Eat Well purchase earn?
Customers can earn one entry per Eat Well product purchased as long as you scan your Sparks card.
Q. How does the training experience work?
The day will take place during a training camp. The day will be organised around player availability and a full schedule for the training masterclass will be shared nearer to the time - but be assured it will be full of your favourite footballers and will be a once in a lifetime experience!
Q. Is there a prize for the whole school to enjoy?
Yes - the school or club that wins the prize will be able to send a limited amount of players for the training day experience. There will be a prize for the full school or team on top of this.
Q. How many training days are up for grabs?
One for England, One for Scotland, One for Wales and One for Northern Ireland - four in total.
Q. What silver prizes can be won?
We have over 100 tickets and over 40 signed shirts and footballs to give away to individuals. We also have hundreds of £200 vouchers your school or club could win.
Q. How will I receive my silver prize?
If you win you will be contacted and the prize will be sent directly to you.
Q. Do I have to buy an Eat Well product?
Yes, buying M&S Eat Well products and scanning the Sparks card earns additional entries for every product purchased. The more entries you have, the more likely you are to win!
